MT. TRUSMADI INTERNATIONAL CLIMBATHON 2024
The first-ever Mount Trusmadi International Climbathon is an exciting and challenging competition that serves to promote Mount Trusmadi, the second-highest mountain in Malaysia, both locally and on the global stage. Mount Trusmadi is located in the picturesque highland district of Tambunan, Sabah, Malaysia.
This event is organized by the Velocity Running Club in collaboration with several key partners, including the Sabah Forestry Department, Sabah Tourism Board, and the Tambunan District Office. The collaboration between these organizations showcases the importance of environmental conservation, eco-tourism, and the promotion of the natural beauty of the Sabah region.
The Mount Trusmadi International Climbathon is not only a test of physical endurance and determination for participants but also an opportunity to experience the pristine wilderness and breath-taking landscapes that Mount Trusmadi and its surroundings have to offer. It contributes to the development of eco-tourism in the area and boosts local and international awareness of this unique and majestic mountain.
